Welcome to the Bucket Think Tank!

     The Bucket Think Tank is a blog dedicated to talking about various forms of media, namely animation. I love animation. There is so much that can be shown and there is a natural suspension of disbelief to accompany it. From Snow White to Legend of Korra if I have seen it you can be sure you’ll hear my opinion on it. I’m also an avid reader of comic books; preferably DC but I do read Marvel just not as much. I enjoy Doctor Who, Star Wars, and I love sharing my opinions whether they are worth anything or not with others.

        I do tend to look for the positive in most things and I’m open to the opinions of other people. I think movies like Frozen are examples of how bad an animated film can go and I think that The Black Cauldron was ahead of it’s time and I am very skeptical of adaptations. I’m an old soul for cartoons, very few shows out today have lived up to the legacy of Animaniacs and Rocko’s Modern Life and even fewer movies out today. I have a similar view on anime and manga (which have changed a bit due to the internet).

        I have no idea if I’ll have any serious readers or fans but I will do my best to give quality work to the people who choose to read. So let's turn on the television, open up the comic book cases, and take a look at the what's has happened, what is happening, and what will happen!
